Just Kickin’ Back Charters is Anna Maria Islands offshore fishing charter. The waters of Anna Maria Island and surrounding areas have an amazing fishery. We fish for everything from Key West Grunts to Giant Goliath Grouper. Our Boat is Federally Permitted which allows us legally to fish beyond 9 miles, setting us apart from other Charters in the area. We have multiple pick up locations surrounding Anna Maria Island, but our main location is on Holmes Beach. We have a variety of charters starting at 4 hours, all the way up to 12 hours. Our mission is to create a fun and unique experience for all level anglers.

As a Florida Native I would rate this trip 10/10!! Captain Phillip is awesome and won’t disappoint! He is very friendly and knowledgeable and will definitely get you hooked up on fish! Even catching the bait is fun! Within the first cast I was catching fish! Captain Phillip is a must if you are visiting or a local! Get it booked now!

My parents came down for their yearly FL trip, and Captain Phil TRULY made my Moms vacation! We had booked the sunset cruise, and were unsure what kind of flexibility there would be. I requested to go visit a sandbar so we could swim, and he was totally accommodating! Then, my Mom mentioned sand dollars (she has a deep love) and he took us to literal sand dollar heaven- they were everywhere!
I highly recommend his charters- not only was he accommodating to what we wanted to do, he is a really nice guy and fun to chat with too! Will definitely be booking in the future :)

We booked a 6 hour fishing trip that took us 9 to 15 miles out into the gulf. By far the best charter we have taken in our 6 years coming to AMI. Captain Philip doesn't disappoint! Great host, funny and upbeat. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to put some fish in the cooler. We will definitely be looking him up on our trip next year!

Captain Phillip did an outstanding job! He asked what we wanted to accomplish as a family. As a Dad taking my boys on their first offshore all I wanted for them was to catch some fish and have a great experience. On our 4 hour trip we caught grey snapper, trigger fish, puffer fish, red groupers, mangroves, and a reef shark. Made the attempt on the barracuda, but we’ll get em next time! My youngest asked when are we doing this again,Dad? Mission accomplished! Thank you Capt.Phillip!

Captain Phillip was a great host and very accommodating - we highly recommend boating with him. During our stay this past week on Anna Maria Island, we boated with Captain Phillip twice. On Tuesday, 6 of us went on a 4 hour ride to visit Egmont Key, saw dolphins but no manatees, stopped in Cortez/Seafood Shack for snacks and drinks, and watched the perfect sunset near Longboat Pass. We had fun and made memories! Then on Friday, the 2 Dads and 3 teenagers spent all day on a deep sea fishing trip. They went about 8 miles out and had a great time and caught fish. We had a delicious fish fry before heading home on Saturday. Our extended family had a great visit to AMI and can't wait to visit again... and would gladly charter with Phillip again!
